Long Range Preservation Planning: Philip Foster Farm

 Project BackgroundSam Shogren was contracted to work with the board, staff, and volunteers of the historical society and museum during the summer of 2008 to develop a Long-Range Preservation Plan for their collections and buildings. We based out work on NorthEast Documents Conservation Center's (NEDCC)'s collections preservation manual developed while I served on the Advisory Committee. We are pleased to announce that Journeys of the Heart Adoption Services located in Hillsboro, Oregon joined a distinguished group of Hague Convention certified international adoption agencies on Febuary 29th! (see www.travel.state.gov/family/adoption/convention/convention_4169.html# for a complete list) Sam has worked with the Journey's staff and Board for the past 14 months on the Agency's challange of facing a dual accreditation crisis. Collections Management – Tigard Historical Society

Tigard Historical Association Working with the Board and volunteers to train them in the care and processing of the Association's heritage collections.
